Alligator Festival 2025

September 25 - September 28

🐊 Alligator Festival

September 25–28, 2025 | West Bank Bridge Park, St. Charles Parish

The Rotary Club of St. Charles Parish has been giving back to the community since 1978. In 1980, the club launched a festival to raise scholarship funds for local students—and the Alligator Festival was born. Since then, the Rotary Club has awarded over $1 million in scholarships, making it the largest private scholarship provider in the parish.

From its early days at Willowdale Country Club to its permanent home at West Bank Bridge Park since 2000, the Alligator Festival has grown into the largest festival in St. Charles Parish. Hosted by the Rotary Club’s 70+ members, their families, and friends, this family-friendly celebration draws thousands of visitors each year.

Festival Highlights

  • Craft vendors & booths
  • Live music & bands
  • Carnival rides
  • Delicious alligator dishes (yes, you can try gator on a stick!)
  • Meet a live alligator—if you’re brave enough!

What started as a $250 scholarship donation in 1980 has turned into a community tradition where fun, food, and music come together for a great cause.

Festival Schedule

  • Thursday: 6–9 p.m. (Locals Night – Free Entry)
  • Friday: 6–11 p.m.
  • Saturday: 11 a.m.–11 p.m.
  • Sunday: 11 a.m.–9 p.m.

Admission

  • $5 per person
  • Free for ages 10 & under
