Louisiana’s River Parishes Tourist Commission Welcomes St. Charles Parish Native Kiki Leigh Mannear as Small Meetings and Events Sales Manager
LaPlace, La. – The Louisiana’s River Parishes Tourist Commission (LARPTC) is pleased to welcome St. Charles Parish native Kiki Leigh Mannear to the team as the organization’s Small Meetings and Events Sales Manager, effective immediately.
“I am excited to be back in my hometown and look forward to acting as a changemaker in the industry by identifying new approaches and enhanced solutions for this groundbreaking organization,” said Mannear.
She will act as a liaison between the River Parishes-based event and meeting venues, including the St. John Center and prospective meeting and events planners. Mannear will assist with sales operations, special events, and contract development in this new role and oversee relationship development with meeting, sports, events, and reunion managers. Mannear will work under the direction of Willma Harvey, LARPTC’s Director of Sales and Business Development.
“Kiki’s strong abilities in innovation are essential in positioning Louisiana’s River Parishes as a great place for small business groups to gather,” said Buddy Boe, LARPTC Executive Director.
“The nature of collaborating and networking has changed, and Kiki’s command of employing new techniques are significant for virtual and hybrid meetings and events, alongside traditional in-person events,” added Boe.
“The Commission is dedicated to providing our small business owners and hospitality leaders with the tools they need to flourish and grow our destination’s economy. Kiki’s addition is among many of the organization’s strategic efforts to ensure our constituents have an exclusive connection to custom-tailored business solutions,” said Garrett Monti, LARPTC Board Chairman.
Mannear honed her skillsets within the hospitality landscape by previously serving as a Tourism Sales Manager for the Little Rock Convention and Visitors Bureau, the Director of Marketing for Outlets of Little Rock, and the Marketing Support Manager at the Highpointe Hotel Corporation. Her hands-on approach and specialization in marketing and event sales, branding, and lobbying make her an invaluable resource to the LARPTC team.
