8:30 am – Start of Veterans Memorial Bridge 5k Run/Walk

1094 US Hwy 61, Gramercy, La. 70052

*From I-10, Use Exit #194 onto Hwy 641 continue south to US Highway 61. The welcome center and parking is at this intersection. ( East Bank side of Bridge )

TIMES:

7:00 am – Registration / Packet Pickup opens on site

8:30 am – Start of Veterans Memorial Mississippi River Bridge 5K Run/Walk

ENTRY FEES:

Open Division

( Ages 18-64 ): $30.00 by October 4th, $35.00 by November 3rd, $40.00 on Day of Race (Nov 4th)

Senior Division ( Age 65-over ) or Youth Division ( Age 17-under ) $30.00 Fixed Pricing

( * Proof of age for youth / seniors required at Packet Pickup )

ON-LINE Registration closes Friday, November 3rd at midnight

Race Day Registration payable via Credit / Debit Card, Check, Cash ( no bills over $20.00 please )

Packet Pickup on the day of race at the race site opening at 7:00 am

RACE DAY LOCATION / PARKING INFO:

Parking is available at the Welcome Center. Overflow parking at the Golden Grove Truck Stop, 935 Hwy 641, Gramercy.

The truck stop is about a 1/3 – 1/2 mile walk to the race site. ( not too far a walk ) * Remember to LOCK your vehicle. Park on each side of the truck stop, please do not block any service or retail access.

BUS TRANSPORTATION:

Buses will shuttle from overflow lot to Welcome Center pre-race as needed. Bus transportation provided from Welcome Center to the Start Side ( on the West Bank ) 7:00 am to 8:00 am. Please arrive early to avoid long lines and any potential delay of start.

If parking on the West Bank ( Start side ) you are responsible for parking location and transportation back.

AWARDS & SCORING:

Event is Chip timed, your timing chip is affixed to reverse side of bib number. Do not fold or remove timing chip. Please make sure your bib number is visible during the event.

Overall and Age group award divisions:

1st Overall Male and Female

Louisiana Running + Walking Co and will be awarding a gift card valued for purchase of a pair of running shoes to the 1st place overall male and female 5K finishers.

Age Group Awards ( 1st, 2nd, 3rd Place)

Male and Female: 14-under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80-over.

We are pleased to announced that Jacob’s World Famous Andouille ( located in Laplace ) is our sponsor of the awards by way of providing Andouille for each division winner!
