Haunted History Hike

Come join us at for the annual Haunted History Hike. You will participate in an immersive theatrical experience delving into the culture and history of this region as well as learn about some issues facing coastal Louisiana communities. You will explore the history of the Native Americans, French Explorers, Jean Lafitte & his Privateers, the residents who survived the Hurricane of 1915, and Duck Hunters and perhaps encounter the Rougarou (Loup Garou). There is a fee of $5 per person to enter the experience. There will also be a wide variety of family fun activities and Food and food and beverages will be available as well. This is a family friendly event for children to enjoy and also gain some knowledge of the culture and history of Louisiana. Profits from this event will benefit the rebuilding of the Wetland Watcher Park. This event will be held on Saturday, October 15th from 6:00-9:30 PM at the East bank Bridge Park in Destrehan, LA.
