Author Talk with Robert H. Cataliotti

Join Whitney Plantation as they welcome Professor Robert H. Cataliotti for an Author Talk to discuss his book, Drumsville! The Evolution of the New Orleans Beat. This event is free to the public and will take place Saturday, March 4th at 1 pm.

Created as a companion to the New Orleans Jazz Museum exhibit of the same name, Drumsville! examines the drummer’s role in the evolution of brass bands, Black masking Indians, traditional and modern jazz, rhythm and blues, rock and roll, and funk.
The Author Talk will be followed by a book signing with books available for purchase in the Whitney Plantation gift shop.
